I just thought I'd try and revive the Club a bit and edited some of the stuff in the journal, now everything below News and Events can just be copypasta stuff for the other mods when they want to make an announcement.

Also, I guess we have a new Moderator, =nk-chan is apparently the head of the News and Events area. So, when the new quarter starts will be turning to her for any new projects and the new times for Life Drawing Sessions are and such.

THE TEDDY PROJECT...
...is in need of animators! This is a great opportunity you guys! This project is already sold, so it WILL be finished and shown locally and nationally! (For more info, go here: [link] ) The kinds of animation needed are CARTOONY HUMAN AND ANIMAL, REALISTIC ANIMAL, and FOREST/WATER BACKGROUND MOVEMENT. There is no obligation, come and do as much or as little as you want! Just a pencil animation of a little bird or something would be fine... and then you can put it in your portfolio as a team project you worked on! Don't not come because you think you aren't good enough... if you're not good, you need to practice before you go hunting for a REAL job, right?? COME ON, GUYS!
ANIMATION LAB, TUES. 4:00-5:45pm!

Japan Trip News
At the recent GAD/Animation meeting, Roby revealed that if the Japan trip is going to happen (it is still very likely to) and if our loans are going to pay for it, participants will be spending an entire quarter studying abroad. Not all of the time will be spent in Japan, we will be going to California and other industry-related areas as well.

Chris Liles teaches Unreal in room NC102, Wed. 4pm.

Digital Painting and Concept Art Club
Room NC109, Thurs. 4:15pm.

Life Drawing schedule for spring quarter
Open life drawing sessions are held in room 700 three days a week.

We want to introduce each other, but not many spend us self-portraits, so let's introduce each other by our artwork, even though the self-portraits would be neat and we still encourage that.

Club-AIS are accepting three artwork per person per week.
One of which would be an artwork you did in class and two will be your personal favorite.

Please keep in mind that our school's reputation is based on this site also; therefore, please keep it tasteful. I'm not asking you to not be creative, by no means PLEASE express yourself; however, keep it censored or think of the reactions of other viewers. Remember not all AIS students appreciate certain styles, some might hate my comics and how lame my inkwork is.

Ok, so starting this week, Please note the club with one artwork from school, such as assignments or projects. And two of your proud artworks you do on your free time.

Each week is limited to three, and the next week we start over again. So enjoy!
But please don't feel obligated to do so.
They don't HAVE to be things you did for class if you really don't want to.

Club-AIS Mods are sorry for the unconvience and delay of all work that you summited but did not appear on this page. We have been swamped with other issues I'm sure you all understand concering hardcore homework assigments. Nontheless, we are reorganizing ourselves and have a new moderator who is delighted to help move the summition process faster.

~MechaNeko is a new addition to the Summission Moderator Team.

You can also send a note to *kiminess, ~WaiLik or ~Club-AIS but the summission process might be slower.

Just be sure to follow the posting art proceedures which are just a scroll away and are very simple to follow. Just note, ~MechaNeko with links to your prided artwork and include your thoughts and feelings on the picture in the note.

He would like to request that you keep it a minimum of five artworks a week to prevent overflowing confusion. If you just want us to copy your artist comments from the original picture, then say so. Please. It makes out job easier. ^__^
