I just thought I'd try and revive the Club a bit and edited some of the stuff in the journal, now everything below News and Events can just be copypasta stuff for the other mods when they want to make an announcement.

Also, I guess we have a new Moderator, =nk-chan is apparently the head of the News and Events area. So, when the new quarter starts will be turning to her for any new projects and the new times for Life Drawing Sessions are and such.

So, give =nk-chan a warm welcome! ^__^

THE TEDDY PROJECT...
...is in need of animators! This is a great opportunity you guys! This project is already sold, so it WILL be finished and shown locally and nationally! (For more info, go here: [link] ) The kinds of animation needed are CARTOONY HUMAN AND ANIMAL, REALISTIC ANIMAL, and FOREST/WATER BACKGROUND MOVEMENT. There is no obligation, come and do as much or as little as you want! Just a pencil animation of a little bird or something would be fine... and then you can put it in your portfolio as a team project you worked on! Don't not come because you think you aren't good enough... if you're not good, you need to practice before you go hunting for a REAL job, right?? COME ON, GUYS!

Japan Trip News
At the recent GAD/Animation meeting, Roby revealed that if the Japan trip is going to happen (it is still very likely to) and if our loans are going to pay for it, participants will be spending an entire quarter studying abroad. Not all of the time will be spent in Japan, we will be going to California and other industry-related areas as well.

Unreal sessions
Chris Liles teaches Unreal in room NC102, Wed. 4pm.

Digital Painting and Concept Art Club
Room NC109, Thurs. 4:15pm.

Life Drawing schedule for spring quarter
Open life drawing sessions are held in room 700 three days a week.
Mon. 4:15-8:15pm
Wed. 4:15-8:15pm
Sat. 9am-1pm

Let us know your skills by sending us your artwork so we may show it off to the other AIS students!

Club-AIS is accepting three artwork per person per week.

Please keep in mind that the art displayed on this page reflects our school; therefore, please keep it tasteful. Nothing you wouldn't show your teachers!

But please don't feel obligated to submit anything.
It was just a suggestion to promote things you did in class and what's going on and such.


To Submit work, just note, ~WaiLik, ~Korasia-Lady, *kiminess or ~MechaNeko with links to your prided artwork and include your artist comments in the note as well.
If you just want us to copy your artist comments from the original picture, then say so.
It makes our job easier. ^__^

Remember we're art students! So please post your work!!!

For those who want to join the club, please note *kiminess or the Club itself with AIS Club in the subject title bar, which AI school you attend, and your major and what diploma program you're going for (BFA, AA, etc.) within the body of the note.

Also, of course, you must add the club to your watch list and maybe add : devClub-AIS : to your club list, if you have one. Maybe your signature, whichever.
Just try to publicize and get it out to as many AI Students as you can, the more the merrier~!

And, I must ask that you watch the journal as well, how else are you going to learn of any announcements?
